Dotrous Enterprise sought a news website that could operate independently, eliminating the need for constant manual oversight. Their vision was clear: a platform capable of autonomously sourcing high-quality news content, publishing polished posts, and promoting them on social media to drive engagement—all while maintaining SEO best practices to boost discoverability. The challenge was to create a system that could intelligently curate relevant content, refine it to meet editorial standards, and integrate with social platforms, all without sacrificing design quality or user experience. Additionally, the solution needed to be scalable and adaptable to evolving content demands.
To meet these requirements, I engineered a sophisticated automation workflow paired with a dynamic, well-designed website. The solution incorporated a range of tools and custom integrations:
Content Curation: Feedly was used to aggregate trending news from reputable sources, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality content.
Automation Workflow: Zapier served as the core automation engine, managing the process from content curation to publication. Its AI functionality refined raw content to align with the site’s editorial standards, enhancing readability and coherence.
SEO Optimization: I integrated Google Apps Script with Zapier to dynamically generate SEO-friendly keywords for each post, boosting search engine visibility. RankMath was implemented to optimize on-page SEO elements, including meta tags, descriptions, and structured data.
Website Development: The site was built on WordPress, with Elementor providing a flexible design framework for a responsive and visually appealing interface. Crocoblock JetEngine enabled dynamic content management through custom post types and advanced functionality, while Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) facilitated tailored content structures.
Social Media Integration: The Social Auto Poster plugin was utilized to automate the sharing of published posts across multiple social media platforms, ensuring consistent and timely distribution to maximize reach and engagement. This was seamlessly integrated with Zapier’s automation workflows for a cohesive process.
Design and User Experience: The website features a clean, modern design optimized for both desktop and mobile users, prioritizing accessibility and brand consistency.
